Of all the materials that the art of sculpting is executed in, wood must be one of the rarer. The ones on public display are often well made, but still quite crude creations. One that doesn’t fit that description however is the artist Willy Verginer, and his assembly of humanoids made of wood. It’s good craftsmanship combined with interesting compositions and colorization.
