Starting yesterday on the 23th of October the artist Mallfred Keresturi, mentioned in the previous post Canvas stains, has an ongoing exhibition at a local art dealer in the Swedish city Södertälje that lasts until the 5th of November. On display is some of his bronze sculptures and aquarelle paintings.
His bronze sculptures mixes rough with smooth, raw with polished, and all of them are connected to the form of the human body. More often than not they are entwined with other elements, and most of them sets of the imagination and hints of a longer story being buried beneath the surface. Why does a man keep running when he is stuck on a snail?
