Scientists have recently concluded that rats, and thereby possibly also humans, have parts of their brains napping when they get tired enough, even thou they keep on performing tasks.

This should already be widely known to anybody who has ever attended school, as it ever so often occurs that a whole lecture goes by without so much as a single bit of information is registrated in the mind, even thou you are sure you never fell asleep.
